"In modern-day London, two brilliant high school students—one Sherlock Holmes and a Miss James “Mori” Moriarty—meet. A murder will bring them together. The truth very well might drive them apart." - Simon & Schuster.
Much along the lines of the TV series Elementary which features a female Watson, this book is rife with tension and full of intrigue, with just a hint of 'awkward relationship'. A second book (Mind Games) was published in late 2016, and a third (Final Fall) is due to be released in late November 2017.
Some die-hard classic Sherlock fans aren't so keen on yet another remake, but whether you're a Sherlock fan or not, you should give this book a go - murder mysteries are usually a good read and this one is no exception.
This book has an average Goodreads rating of 3.58 - an indication perhaps of the polarising nature of the book, particularly if you read some of the low-rating comments. Which camp are you in?
